The new sms integration is good, but there's no possibility to disable it. I like the dialer and the adress-book, but I allready have a good app for sms with sms-popup, so I don't need another one. Now two popups come up in front when I get an sms, and that's really disturbing.
Please add an option to disable the youlu-sms-popups.

1I've been frustrated by the SMS feature being imposed on users without asking for permission first. Honestly, this would be a game killer if the address book wasn't so desireable.
I've turned off the notifications by launching Youlu Message, navigating to 'Notification Settings', and unchecking everything. Part of the problem fixed.
A bigger issue for me is Youlu Message seems to hijack my default SMS app settings. I have a third party SMS app set as my default but whenever I navigate to send an sms via Youlu Address Book it launches Youlu Message without even providing the option of selecting other options or changing the defaull SMS app.
Honestly, can't wait until this is fixed and hope the developers refrain from changing users' app settings without prior permission in future releases. -

1Simon thanks that did the trick. Interesting the only way I found "Youlu Message" was to search for it under the global search. The program is not showing in my programs. I was able to disable the notification.

You can disable Youlu SMS notifications by pressing 'menu' button and choosing notifications settings.

I totally agree with jonassalen. I love to use youlu address book, but not youlu sms. I am using CHomp SMS and I like it. Please add option to disable sms support... Thx

I like the Youlu SMS better than Chomp. First, you don't have to stare at adds. Second, it is one less app to be installed - taking up space and slowing your phone down. Third, besides the theme customization, it looks nearly the same. The only drawback is that on the Desire, turning the phone on its side does not change the orientation.
Once you disable the built-in phone notifications, the app is quite stellar and unobtrusive. -

Because of new update of youlu and no progress with our problems, I decided to uninstall youlu and installed instead of great app Dialer One. Bye bye youlu...

Hey Developer,
I guess u must have known the fact by now that people don't want the sms app.
So for god sake give option to disable it or uninstall it. Otherwise we are forced to stop using this great app.

Youlu SMS causes duplicate sms in GO SMS and stock SMS.
Please provide option for us to disable the SMS feature.-
You can disable the notifications of youlu programme. It has options in the settings.
